在台灣十多年(包括被派駐美國那幾年)做的都算是白領, 坐辦公室當個不大不小的頭目, 跟商業及財務金融會計比較有關, 證照也是這類的. 如果要找工作也一定只能找這類的, 因為這輩子沒學過沒做過其它工作.
溫哥華因為尚有長輩餘蔭, 是有房子住, 所以不用考慮房租. 但出了溫哥華就一定要租房了.
但聽說金融服務業在加拿大不管哪個城市, 應該.....都很難找, 人力過剩, 是不是這樣啊?   |
I think your best option is to spend a year or two to get a accounting/business diploma and then get a CGA or CA designation. Get a diploma recognized in Canada is just to grant you entry to job openings, your previous work experience in Taiwan won't help a whole lot in getting you interviews.
Start with volunteer tax preparer, you will be able to meet a lot retired account volunteers. They might be able to provide you some information like companies that are hiring or even able to hand-in resume for you etc...c
You should also get in touch with job agencies, there are agencies that focus in just financing and accounting fields. They also have clients that only recruit through the agencies and the job positions are not available to public.
Ignore any of the company that owns by Chinese, its either they want people from China or they pay cheap. That said, a lot of Chinese are very welling to help , providing information...etc. Knowing the right people is the key.
