I was actually thinking about getting a Mini with thunderbolt drive.
I need something with at least 2TB fast drive, max RAM, fast CPU, and an ok graphic.

let say 16 gb is about $100 DIY upgrade ($899)
KB + Mouse $80+80=160 ($1059)
Monitor about 24" $249 ($1308)
1tb hdd about $100 ($1408)
Video, all u got is Intel HD4000
