你說得監控軟體是指SMART ?
1.硬碟有SMART監控功能，SSD也有，企業版的SSD監控項目還比消費性市場的SSD更多......
2.SMART能否完全預測到硬碟掛點?不要用我個人的經驗，恐怕樣本數太少不準，我用Google在2007年發表的論文，闡述Google對自身使用硬碟損壞的因素&現象分析探討，這硬碟掛點樣本數sample絕對是你我個人用戶的萬倍以上….論文名稱Failure Trends in a Large Disk Drive Population
Google分析SMART現象跟硬碟掛點的關聯時，發現如下
Out of all failed drives, over 56% of them have no count in any of the four strong SMART signals, namely scan errors, reallocation count, offline reallocation, and
probational count. In other words, models based only on those signals can never predict more than half of the failed drives. Figure 14 shows that even when we add
all remaining SMART parameters (except temperature) we still find that over 36% of all failed drives had zero counts on all variables.
簡言之Google認為SMART error無法完全預警硬碟掛點，毫無SMART error而硬碟仍掛點的現象也存在著…..
