如果有在用Windows Media Player的話，對SRS應該不陌生，因為在其內，
應該從XP版的開始，就已有內建SRS WOW的效果。
如同官網短片的介紹，SRS Labs Audio Essentials是單純著重於聆聽感受的軟體，
不像X-Fi MB2一樣，還附加了多裝置音效輸出，與EAX遊戲音效引擎系列等等功能，
所以只要把進階面板點開，就差不多是它的全貌
如果沒有其他看不見的地方，那它的各種模式，就是以下六個參數的預設組合變化：

●3D Center Level - determine the amount of center present in the stereo field.
●3D Space Level - choose the width of the stereo field
●3D TruBass® Level - regulate the amount of perceptual bass effect added to the output (acts like an advanced “Bass” control)
●FOCUS™ - control the elevation of the stereo image.
●TruBass Speaker Size - set the slider lower for larger speakers, and higher for smaller speakers.
●Definition - change the amount of high frequency contouring to further improve perception and acoustic space (acts like an advanced “Treble” control)
用一段時間的感覺是，以聆聽效果而言，不管假不假，還真的挺讓人感動的，
特別是用在抒情歌上。不過不知道是不是自己系統的問題，覺得這軟體，
不如X-Fi MB2穩定，面版開開關關的會掛給你看，所以記得要用縮到最小就好，
而目前遇過最糟的問題，是它處理一些遊戲時的效果非常差，彷彿是AC'97時代，
遇到的話，按下軟體控制面板上的電源圖示，把所有效果關掉可能比較省事
↑設定面版中，可以調整控制面板的大小，以適應各尺寸螢幕，這是設計上較貼心的地方。
如果單純是想改進聆聽感的，或許可以考慮一下SRS Labs Audio Essentials這軟體，
但是它不支援USB與1394介面的外接音源，這可能又是比較扣分的地方。
其實用了這套，又更加覺得X-Fi MB2的售價，以Creative而言真的是太佛心了...
就看看Windows 8推出後，是否可以直接用在新作業系統上。
