2. 有遠見&尊重人權的政治家或政府,當發現機車死亡率高時,就會用心找出肇事的『原因』,全面性的規劃與防範。

而眼光短視&不尊重人權的政客或政府,當發現機車死亡率高時,就簡單地開始用各種手段禁止機車上路... 以欺壓人民自由選擇交通工具權利的惡劣方式,來便宜行事,然後還很不要臉地補上一句:我是為了你們安全呀~

依據老美 2006年 的 統計數據:

機車族之每10萬人致死率: 72.34
汽車族之每10萬人致死率: 13.10


依據英國交通部 2004年 的統計:

motorcycles have 16 times the rate of serious injuries per 100 million vehicle kilometers compared to cars, and double the rate of bicycles.
(機車族的重傷率,是汽車的16倍,自行車的2倍)

澳大利亞的統計:

A national study by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATS) found that:

(1). Motorcycle rider death rates increased among all rider age groups between 1998 and 2000

(2). Motorcycle rider deaths were nearly 30 times more than drivers of other vehicles (機車族致死率為其他車種的30倍)

(3). Motorcycle riders aged below 40 are 36 times more likely to be killed than other vehicle operators of the same age.

(4). Motorcycle riders aged 40 years and over are around 20 times more likely to be killed than other drivers of that same age.
