Transmeta當年crusoe效能其實是堪用的
約略就是最低等級的賽楊，或者更慢一點
可是當時筆電很貴，Transmeta算稍有價格優勢
不過CMP相容性還是很有問題，各筆電廠更新也不夠積極
ARM應該不會企圖模擬x86，不管用純軟體模擬或者類code morphing
Google相信平台數量夠大，軟體就不是問題
軟體商會迫不及待的把Translating x86 code to ARM code
還要其他的東西交給雲端，只要terminal功能的東西一定要X86幹嘛？

我也是這麼覺得, ipad/tablet 的效能跟桌機比起來差了一大截, 但是大家還是用的很爽.
而且, 現在效能已經到了就算最低階也能滿足 80% 使用者的需求, 只是上網看郵件, 看 word, 需要用到 4C8T? 2C4T 搞不好都嫌多了
再者, ARM 也許無法在桌機上跟 x86 拼效能, 但是移動裝置還能一較長短.
