另外，我在種族上也自認是中國人，我說中國話、寫中國字，過中國農曆新年、端午節、中秋節，祖先牌位上是中國地名；不過我的國籍是中華民國(身份證上、駕照上等等都是中華民國)，不是中華人民共和國的國民，長久住的地方叫台灣，所以我也是台灣人。

國名跟國號要分清楚。
目前國際上只承認一個中國。中國就是國家，也就是國名。沒有兩個中國這回事。
這個世界上曾經承認過中華民國是代表中國的一個合法政府。合法政府就是國號。
而現在世界上所承認的合法政府為中華人民共和國。

Article 10
For the purposes of the present Treaty, nationals of the Republic of China
shall be deemed to include all the inhabitants and former inhabitants of Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores) and their descendents who are of the Chinese nationality in accordance with the laws and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enforced by the Republic of China in Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores); and juridical persons of the Republic of China shall be deemed to include all those registered under the laws and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enforced by the Republic of China in Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores).
主要用意為旅行方便。
