最近在survey新主機板,看到ASUS Pampage iii Extreme這一張,想當然我不會被她漂亮的外表迷惑(PS:原因後述),於是上網去看所有關於這張版子的review,我發現到一個普遍現象就是大家在抱怨這張版子的北橋會過熱,尤其找到此網友的敘述:
northbridge heatsink is one of the most pathetic attempts I've seen in the last 3-4 years. the stock HS (pre-ftted) is lame and should not even be included in the package-a complete waste of time. The HS with fan that comes with the mobo is only marginally better and still gives temps of 60c when idling, not good for such a high-profile mobo.
- motherboard's poor heat management causes the top graphics card slot to cook my GPU 10c hotter than my previous mobo (evgax58 x3 sli)

讓我想到之前我也曾經被另一張ROG的Maximus II Formula的亮麗外表給迷惑而買下,之後才第一次開機就在idle使用下因為北橋過熱保護機制而關機(over 100c),我是買後發現此問題上網找解答才發現原來我不是唯一遇到的人,從此我買主機板一定會先去newegg及asus forum及kakaku看reviews後再下手.

重點來了,有台灣的網友買了這張後遇到同樣的問題嗎?我不想再遇到買了一張貴桑桑的板子還有這種鳥問題.我在想ROG的研發團隊是不是和一般主板不同?要不然怎麼ROG的板子常常北橋過熱?同時期的775我買過P5B Deluxe/P5Q Deluxe/P5Q-E/Maximus II Formula,結果就Maximus II Formula會過熱
