好處一: 故障率降低, 假設一片碟片的損壞機率是 2%, 又只要壞一片整顆就報廢, 那麼損壞機率就是 1-(98%^2) = 3.96%... 所以降低碟片數量有助於減少損壞機率
好處二:效能提高, 當碟片轉動的時候, 同一時間內經過磁頭的需數量越多, 搜索時間就愈短
至於有沒有感覺, 見仁見智, 如果是升級五年的舊電腦那當然有感覺, 如果去年剛買, 那幾乎感覺不出來
