前幾天買了dell 6i, 安裝了2顆HDD
設定為raid1
現在有幾個問題...
1.如果有一買硬碟壞了,要如何知道?(要裝什麼軟體嗎?)
因為如果壞一顆,有一顆沒壞,原來的磁碟資料都還是在的...
就怕已經壞一顆了還不自覺
2.如果壞一顆了,要如何rebuld?
好像換上一顆好的,並不會[自動]rebulid
3.要關機再換上新硬碟嗎?
一般的psu跟sata hdd而已,(不是熱插拔psu,也不是sas)

一般我們是透過抽取模組上的LED去認(這最快..)..
但這是有前提..
如果你的抽取模組是SFF8484或著SFF8087..
那到甚麼都不用管..
是SATA的話..
背板必須帶SGPIO輸出(這是LSI的做法..)...
也就是SFF8484 to SATA with SGPIO線材...
背板不帶SGPIO會不太好搞...
HDD最好是企業級的..
具備TLER(WD稱)或著ERC(Seagate稱)...
免得有時候出現HDD Offline情況.....
2.The RAID controller uses hot spares to rebuild failed drives automatically
and transparently, at user-defined rebuild rates. If a hot spare is available,
the rebuild can start automatically when a drive fails. If a hot spare is not
available, the failed drive must be replaced with a new drive so that the
data on the failed drive can be rebuilt.
Note: When running RAID 0 and RAID 5 virtual drives on the
same set of drives (a sliced configuration), a rebuild to a
hot spare will not occur after a drive failure until the
RAID 0 virtual drive is deleted.
3.要關機...
除非HDD具備Hot Swap...
而且另外搭配抽取模組支援Hot Swap...
企業級硬碟不是做假的...
跟DT級開放出來的功能有些差異
