應該是會擴充 CUDA 架構下的 X86, 搭配 ARM 打造非 Intel/AMD 的平台.
cGPU 架構下, 一個SP管線的結構跟CPU 裡的 FPU 很像
只要能解決其他相容性的問題, 那一張板包辦所有的功能基本上是可以預見
而且可大可小, 大到像是 512 甚至 1024 SP的玩家級怪物， 或是 32 SP 的掌上型/文書處理.
如果一個元件能包辦許多事, 何必要拆開來?
畢竟將來, 電腦會朝小型化的方向走. HTPC, 車用機, 文書機, 甚至腕上機(?)
這些東西都不一定要用到 x86,
x86 會繼續稱霸的原因不外乎已經成為習慣, 懶的改.
linux 已經證明了可以做到像 W7 的介面(或者說反過來?),
上網, 收信, 看影片... 或是實在沒有必要用到 windows/x86 的組合.
