1998年8月，大宇為了成為上櫃公司，原負責人另成立天碩資訊，然後由新公司併入原大宇資訊，並且接收既有之產品、人員及業務。同年9月舊大宇解散。該年10月，又再將名稱變更回大宇資訊股份有限公司
詳情可請上維基百科查吧，以前的遊戲真的都有用心製作，不僅軒轅劍，還有仙劍奇俠傳，畫面、劇情、音效。。。等等。花了很多的時間精神。（因為我有認識的幫忙製作仙劍1）
1998年後就開始改變了，劇情已經不是遊戲的重點了，如果有一系列玩下去的人就知道了。

印象中, 舊大宇給我的感覺很像是現在的 BZ, 遊戲做好才出的那種...
而不是拼命趕, 像現在的 EA... =.=
我只從一代玩到三代外傳天之痕... 天之痕最後差點飆眼淚...
四代玩到一半就玩不下去了...
