People are greedy, no question and no doubt about it.
However, what an individual want might have different perspective.
Somebody likes money, such as yourself.
Somebody loves to have leisure time, such as FD3STYPER.
It is true that leisure time are using expense of something, but it is not always the money.
Money, at the end, is just a number after your income surpass the equilibrium of spending + saving. Since you have the money to buy something that money can buy, you will start looking for something that money can't buy.

I don't take things for granted.
My wife ( Solicitor ) and I ( Barrister ) love competition.
We prefer Cash to useless credit cards.
And my personal stock holdings are in excess of multi-million (Porsche/GE/Coca-Cola)
I can do it, so can you.
