對貝多芬沒研究，剛才一時好奇去查了有關他的資料。貝多芬的父親叫做Johann van Beethoven，母親叫做Maria Magdalena Keverich，嫁給貝多芬的父親之前，曾經嫁給Johann Leym並在1764年生了一個孩子，可惜這個孩子夭折，一年後丈夫也過世了，她在1767年才改嫁給貝多芬的父親，在貝多芬出生之前生了一個跟貝多芬同名的兒子Ludwig，但是不到一個星期便夭折，約一年後才生了貝多芬。貝多芬的父母總共生了七個孩子，但是只有三個 (都是男孩) 存活到長大。由於貝多芬的名字跟夭折的兄長一樣，再加上兄長早逝，有人會把兩人搞混，並且稱貝多芬是長子，事實上他是次子。

Beethoven's family had suffered earlier losses of children. His mother, Maria Magdalena Keverich Leym, had lost a baby in infancy in 1764, a year before the death of her first husband, Johann Leym. After marrying Johann van Beethoven in January 1767, she bore in seventeen years a total of seven children, of whom Ludwig van Beethoven was the second. The first, a son named Ludwig Maria, was born in April 1769 and died in less than a week. After Ludwig's birth in December 1770 she gave birth to two more sons who grew to manhood, Caspar Anton Carl (born 174) and Nikolaus Johann (born 1776), but the last three children all died young. These were Anna Maria Franziska (born in February 1779, died after four days); Franz Georg (born in January 1781, died in August 1783); and Maria Margaretha (born May 1786, died November 26 1787).

可是完全沒有看到貝多芬的母親有梅毒、其他兄弟姊妹有什麼身體殘缺之類的描述。所以我想結論應該是，娶再婚的女人沒什麼不好，甚至可以生出一個貝多芬。(逃~)
