NVIO 晶片聽過有種說法：原本主晶片製作過程中構造複雜，為了達到更好的良率把這塊拉出來額外製作 (8800GTX, GTX280 是採用這種設計；9800GTX, 9800GX2 似乎內建)

這我也有聽說過, 原本是為了良率, 所以才拉出來作,
但是後來發現, 把顯示晶片獨立出來除了可以增加良率, 也似乎可以降低因為GPU晶片本身的雜訊干擾
