大家都知道PCI-E從1.1升級到了現在的2.0,不光是頻寬增加了一倍,電源供給也從75W上升至150W∼225W左右
問題來了,我的同事跟我說PCI-E2.0不是為了顯卡而做的,因為GAME的資料量沒那麼大,而是為了一些storage卡,RAID卡這類需要高頻寬的卡
請問他說的對嗎?
我知道現在的遊戲確實用1.1或2.0的規格跑起來是沒什麼差別,但說完全無用也不是很有道理
吧!畢竟PCI-E*16的通道主流也是顯示卡在用的而已阿....

有些 raid HBA 上面都開始用 dual core IOP 了.
還有, intel 有些北橋, mb 商拉出來 PCIe 16x 對 raid HBA 感冒.
再不改善, PCI-X 64bit 還會活的更久.
當然有些 PCIe scalable/hot-swap 的規格也是要定詳細點.
PCIe 下面的優勢沒幾個看到廠商在實作的,
