內建 intel GbE "可能" 是賣點
但在這張主機板是例外....
這塊板子上用的是 82573E/82573L NIC
看過 intel 規格書的就知道整個 82573 系列都有不可彌補的毛病 (其源自於硬體設計疏失，軟體無解)
造成 82573E/V 無法使用 Jumbo Frames，而 82573L 則必須硬改 網卡的 EEPROM 才能使用 Jumbo Frames
不支援 Jumbo Frames 的 GbE 已經跟半殘沒啥兩樣了...
因此，衝著 dual GbE 而想買這張主機板的網友請三思
如果網友們只跑在 10/100 當然無傷大雅  |
Jumbo Frames and Jumbo Packets

Some Intel gigabit adapters and connections that support Jumbo Frames have a
frame size limit of 9238 bytes, with a corresponding MTU size limit of 9216
bytes. The adapters with this limitation are based on the Intel 82571EB,
82572EI, 82573L and 80003ES2LAN controller. These correspond to the
