Q: WinFast DVR3100 H 和 WinFast PVR3000 Deluxe 對於自行安裝的編碼器是不是都有支援?Koepi的XVID能不能用?
A: 和硬體無關.
和你使用的軟體有關.
大部份軟體對AVI 檔案CODEC的支援只會提供"Audio Compressors" (ACM) 和 "Video Compressors" (VCM) 內的項目.
不會提供"DirectShow Filters"內的項目.

你可以用微軟的GraphEdit 就可以知道你用的"Koepi XVID"是否支援 Microsoft VCM.

BTW, there are many MPEG-4 CODECs which are better than the Koepo XVID.

大部份的MPEG-4 CODEC 只支援"YUY2","UYVY"的輸入Video YUV 格式.
大部份的MPEG-4 CODEC並不支援"Conexant CXF2"YUV 格式.

WinFast DVR3100 H 和 WinFast PVR3000 Deluxe 的 Raw Video Data是"Conexant CXF2" 格式 (YUV格式中的一種).

所以軟體要在"Video Capture Device"的Capture pin output 和MPEG-4 CODEC 的 input pin 之間插入"Conexant Color Format Convertor" filter (DirectShow Filter, wfcxf2.ax, "Conexant Color Format Convertor" filter的輸入是"Conexant CXF2"格式, 輸出是YUY2 格式).
