What a great surprise this was! This is a combo monitor and Wacom tablet that allows you to use a stylus and actually retouch your images by tapping and dragging on the screen. We have seen earlier versions of the Cintiq and the color was disappointing, but this new version is great. Please read our RAVE on this product for more info. The screen is not a sharp as the rest of the $1000 + screens, and it’s tough to profile, but the color is very good and Wacom is the highest quality tablet maker on the planet. So if you do a large volume of retouching, take a look at this monitor / tablet that is very good at both. It will take up less desktop space than a monitor and a tablet and once you get “used to” working on a touch screen you will discover it’s a major workflow booster.

PROS: Wacom quality tablet over a good screen, awesome programmable buttons. Excellent tutorials on their website to boost your productivity.

CONS: Price, lack of sharpness, difficult to profile.
