NVIDIA公佈一份技術資料， 顯示3D遊戲《英雄連》在DX9和DX10畫面上的差異。
NVIDIA表示，將在今天在nzone網站上推出《英雄連》DX10補丁。
《英雄連》DX10補丁要求GeForce 8、Radeon HD 2900XT顯卡， Windows Vista操作系統。 下面就是《英雄連》DX10補丁的技術改進之處和畫面對比：
-所有物體都採用像素光照 - 採用百分比漸進式過濾（PCF）陰影， 讓陰影更加柔軟和真實 - 全方位點光照陰影， 使用DX10渲染到立方體紋理和幾何著色功能， 最多同時支持4個點光照和陰影
-軟粒子效果， 在地形和其他物體表面產生眩目的粒子效果
-支持CSAA反鋸齒
-通過DX10舉證地形 系統， 生成真實的體積草地
-DX10舉證生成樹葉和其他物體
-DX10 Alpha到覆蓋（透 明反鋸齒）
