大哥 , 請容小弟發表一點打混心得 :
1. 不打沒有利益的戰爭 , 不讀沒有實用價值的 paper / patent .
2. Learn something from the USSR - everything must be cheap, simple and reliable. AK-47 的設計哲學的確威力無窮 , 和對手短兵相接之時尤其明顯 .
3. Focus on making profit, not making trouble.
4. 小時不練功 , 到老一場空 . 練功不修德 , 落得兩頭空 .
5. 靠天吃飯要餓死 , 靠人打仗要失敗 .
6. 拿破崙的戰爭三要素: 錢, 錢, 還是錢 . 即使是做研究也是一樣 .
7. 孫子兵法 : 富國強兵, 修道保法 . 做研究還是這樣 .

8. 當研究能達到 selfsustain (輸出入功率達到平衡 , 實驗室經營達到損益平衡點) 例如:

--- B. USC 的 George A. Olah research group. (carbocation rearrangement)
--- C. Rieke Metals Inc. (Reuben D. Rieke) (Rieke coupling rxn. Ti0 particles and carbonyl groups)
--- D. Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (張念慈, 翁啟惠)

那就離翻身之日不遠 .
