I have the same problem, and a very similiar setup (exact same MB MSI 915p Neo2).

Problem: When I boot to install XP I got the ***STOP message, some memory address fields and pci.sys + memory address.

However: I noticed that when disabling the network in the bios the error no longer occured. And I can run the installation etc etc just like normal.

The problem of course, is that I can't set my 10/100/1000 integrated Network adapter to "Enabled" in the BIOS since that reproduce the ***STOP screen before I get into Windows.
