在歐美地區, 電話費只要每個月繳固定就任你講
所以撥接對一些人來說還是有存在性,
第一方便: 因為不是每個地方都有無線網路hotspot, 出門在外, 緊急需要收封信怎麼辦? 除了找網咖, 就是直接拔電話線接筆電...
第二, 有的時候真的用不到照麼大的頻寬,出門在外, 收收e-mail, 看個報告也就夠了
第三, 還是有人不以網路拿來當娛樂與吸收知識的管道, 這些人使用網路的方法如第二點
加上很多公司像AOL, 提供 3000 分鐘的撥接...相當於 50 小時...
網頁慢?沒差, 開下去抓, 自己去做其他的事, 回來剛好收發e-mail...
