問題內容如下
I bought X-FI XtremeMusic, but got confusion about DTS decoding function.
Can X-FI XtremeMusic decode the DTS signal by hardware decoder or not? Or it's only can decode fully by software?
In the production documentation, it seems it is clear that X-FI can decode DTS Signal by X-Fi I/O Drive or X-Fi I/O Console. Does it mean the hardware decoder has been provided and installed in X-Fi I/O Drive or X-Fi I/O Console for decoding function?
Additionally, Creative also mentioned the method used to decode with Sound Blaster X-Fi from a software DVD player in production documentation.

關於DTS解碼的問題，之前波去國外創新討論區的那一篇已經有官方回覆了，如下所示
The built-in decoder referred to is on the card (so not on the drive or console), the card can do all that decoding itself.
Those instructions are included as DVD software usually has a decoder aswell, so using that information you enable the decoder on the card but don't use the decoder in the DVD software.

而今天小弟也打電話去問創新的工程師這個問題，也得到與國外互相呼應的答案，但電話中得到的答案更深入，就請大家參考參考：
創新的工程師說X-FI的DTS解碼為硬解
所謂的內建解碼器則是設置在DSP內，而解碼用的相關程序也早就寫在DSP裡。
而 DTS解碼的動作是在DSP內部來完成，不需透過電腦的 CPU。
在電話中，創新工程師也說明X-FI的DTS解碼既非軟解同時也非透過驅動程式來解碼。
他也說明驅動程式可看做是讓作業系統識別硬體的一種工具
而單靠驅動程式本身並無法實現解碼功能，尚須透過CPU的運算才能實現…
同時他也表示A2ZS採用的DTS解碼方式與 X-FI大致相同
而小弟也詢問了外接盒解碼的問題
他說在產品說明書內之所以會有下面這種講法:
使用 Sound Blaster X-Fi 解碼
如果您備有外接 Dolby Digital/DTS DVD 播放機，您可以使用 X-Fi I/O 磁碟機* 或 X-Fi I/O 控制台* 解碼 Dolby Digital 或 DTS 訊號。
要啟用此功能，在音效控制台上選擇使用內建解碼器選項，或在娛樂模式或音樂創作模式下選擇關閉(內建解碼器)選項。詳情請參考各自的線上說明。
主要是為了讓使用者知道，例如當使用外接的DVD Player來放DVD時，也是可以透過外接盒或Console來當傳遞媒介將訊號傳回音效卡來解碼。
而非一定在要電腦的DVD-ROM播放才能讓音效卡解碼。
所以外接盒或是Console只是訊號傳遞的媒介而不具備解碼功能。
