先弄個Gmail給你老板。
把他的Outlook Express設成用Gmail的SMTP寄信，用Gmail帳號登入就可以用Gmail的SMTP發信。
再把Gmail的寄件人地址改設定成你老板的Hinet地址(須要先認證)，收件人看到的發信地址是你老板的Hinet地址，回信也會回到你老板的Hinet地址。

這樣POP3用msxx.hinet.net，SMTP用smtp.gmail.com，不用更改設定，國內、國外都能順利收發信件。而且你老板應該不會發覺有用到Gmail。
