光雕時間並沒有分CD跟DVD，都是滿版光雕，時間因品質設定而差異，分草稿、good、best，best約20~25min

至於傷不傷雷射，基本上它就跟燒片是一樣的道理。
這是官網的說法：
「Q: Does the additional use of the laser in a LightScribe-enabled drive shorten its life?

A: Under typical labeling circumstances, there is no significant reduction in laser life. Based on typical use for both data and label sides of the disc, the laser is well within the design specifications. 」

我個人是認為，既然燒錄機是拿來燒片的，那這問題就不需要多慮。一年內操壞了就送去保固，一年後壞了，那時會有更便宜、功能更佳的玩意讓你的小朋友出走。
