你憑什麼說管線增加效能就要大幅增進?
你真的了解R580跟R520之間架構的關係嗎
至少R580管線增加3倍成本沒有跟著增加為3倍
現在是PS技術快速進步的時代,所以提高PS是最優先的事
R580效能還不能有大幅的躍進有很大的原因是現有的遊戲沒有
針對這一部分優化

並不是整條管線增加為三倍喔... 而是只有 pixel shader 增加, 其他維持不變,電晶體也只提高了 20M(好像吧...=.= 不多就是)
忘了在哪看到,
PS增加的結果, 造成資源不足以提供這麼多 PS 使用, 加上其他的輸出單元間接限制了 PS 的效能(沒有一起提升), 導致整體速度只比 R520 增加了 15~20%
這是目前遊戲的情況, 因為現在的遊戲 PS 較不吃重, 所以增加PS 並不會有立竿見影的效果,
相反的像 nV 這種做法則是對現有遊戲較有幫助, 整體管線的提升, 則對現有遊戲效能有不錯的增長
反過來說,如果拿到一年後的遊戲上面測, 情況可能會不一樣了
