at least is something good and better than b4
you can at least still fix it
rather than just throw it away after 1 yrs

extend warranty has its good and bad
the concept is good
just the way the store treat it.....sucks

why they should lease a item to you while your product is in fix?
the extend warranty is just extend the warranty of the prodcut

the auto body shop usually have a spare car for you when your car is in the shop fixing..
but ALL shops offer this ? I don't think so... only the major ones does
and they usually have one or two cars available...

Compare to Electronic products..
there are so many different kind of products out there
how are you going to expect them to provide this kind of the service to you?
your NB is back in the shop...so they should have a spare one for you to use?
your TV is back in the shop.. so they should have a spare one for you to use?
who is going to buy those used (beat up) items after 2-3 yrs?

at least I think having an extend warranty on the prodcut is not a bad idea
if you know how to play the game, you will know how to play the game well
