He has an $18 million contract with the Giants for the 2006 season.

Bonds will probably finish his career with San Francisco after the 2006 season but will play it year by year. Bonds says he can't conceive still playing at age 43 (mid-2007). "This is where I want to be," he said. Bonds had previously stated he'd DH on an American League team, but that was before the Giants extended his contract last September. He obviously doesn't need the money and wants to spend more time watching his children grow up.
