Actually, reporters at CNN don't have any British accent, they still speak in standard American English. I think the reason why students in Taiwan can't realize the CNN news report is perhaps the way of thinking. Even if our students may understand every word the reporters say, they may have difficulties in putting words together, because they still try to translate those sentences into Chinese, while next sentence comes up quickly before our students figure out the meanings of the previous sentences. In other words, it has very little to do with accent, the important issue is to think in English. don't anyone find that U.S. President "Bush" Speak English very "Good"?

I mean it's clearly nad speed control also well.

Everytime watch TV news listen what he said...

it's a really good way to traning your listening...
