不一定全螢幕(4:3)的就一定比寬螢幕畫面少哦,
要看影片原始的拍攝合成比例和導演的喜好而定,
像是Stanley Kubrick導的
The Shining (1980)
Full Metal Jacket (1987)
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
這幾片DVD都是全螢幕(1.37:1)的,是最完整正確的畫面,也是導演想要的,
反而在電影院放映的寬螢幕版本(1.85:1)是經過裁減matted過的...
DVD封底也有這段文字
"This feature is presented in the full aspect ratio of the original camera negative, as Stanley Kubrick intended."
當然這種情形算是少數的啦...
