如何取得SoundStorm 認證
1.內建 Nforce全系列 或是搭載nForce 2 MCP-T(有APU的)
2.使用多聲道的CODEC
3.SPDIF介面
4.搭配Nvidia的驅動及軟體
5.硬體配置Dolby Digital解碼

所以SoundStorm不見得一定要搭配SoundStorm　Box
像是Abit NF7-S就取得SoundStorm 認證，(五點皆符合)
ACR SoundStorm　Box只是搭配APU使之有SoundStorm功能的Solution之一

至於Nforce4根本就沒有內建APU，先天根本就不可能構成SoundStorm
