It is a press release at the very least surprising which we have just received on behalf of INTEL. Accustomed to a total dumbness concerning CPUs which is not announced yet officially, INTEL announces today officially the arrival to us of CPUs multicores with grinds details. Accompanied by the chipsets i955X and i945P for their launchings from here a few months (second quarter), INTEL also announces an innovation of size! Indeed, if have it knows already almost all Pentium 4 of the series 8xx (a sample is besides already in our possession), it is with surprise that INTEL teaches us today the simultaneous exit from Pentium 4 EE Dual-Core, but this time equipped with HyperThreading technology activated whereas it is not the case on P4 8xx! INTEL also states that the mass production of Dual-Core CPUs already started.
Probably also accompanied by a bus FSB1066, this new P4 EE is likely well to take again the torch of the performances in Athlon 64-FX of AMD. Although one murmurs in the corridors of AMD that the FX-57, planned for Q3, will be Dual Core also, of Dual-Core P4 EE, with HT activated (and thus capable of gèrer 4 threads simultaneously) and equipped with a FSB1066 have very we to like the very fast arrival. Would INTEL awake finally? We will really espèrons it!
