NEC自己工廠生產的硬體(含硬碟, 光碟...)韌體為NEC開頭,
海外廠或者是外包廠(OEM)生產的, 皆為 _NEC...
雖然現在NEC已經沒有自己的工廠在生產Drive了,
但此一習慣仍然沿用.
