P->Q 稱作條件命題，口語化的講：「如果是OOO，那就會XXX」或「OOO都是XXX」。
舉個例子，我來說個命題：
「上PCDVD的人，都是有格調的好青年」
那麼此命題對不對呢？
1. (P真Q真)我上PCDVD，我是好青年。 支持我的命題
2. (P假Q假)他不上PCDVD，他是個混蛋。還是支持。
3. (P假Q真)他不上PCDVD，他是好青年。沒影響啊，我又不是說不上的都是壞人。命題依然成立。
4. (P真Q假)大濕也上PCDVD，他也是好青年？唉，我的命題不對啦....

瞭解,我之前一直是把他想成"這命題是真的",而不是"這命題成立".
所以一直搞不懂他的意思.那麼,想請教更深一點的問題.
課本中有個題目:
Show that potheses:
It is not sunny this afternoon and it is colder than yesterday.
We will go swimming only if it is sunny.
If we don't go swimming.
then we will take a canoe trip.
If we take a canoe trip.
Then we will be home at sunset.
＊Lead to the conclusion "We will be home at sunset"
課本解析:
p : It is sunny this afternoon.
q : It is colder than yesterday.
r : We will go swimming.
s : We will take a canoe trip.
t : We will be home by sunset.

其中,Simplification using Step 1的意思我不懂.
Simplification查了字典的意思是"簡單化".
但是問了一堆同學,沒人會解釋Simplification using Step 1的意思.
反倒是叫我直接背起來的居多...
我的疑問有
既然-p^q表示"下午不是晴天+今天下午比昨天冷"
那麼第2步驟的-p又代表什麼意思呢?(重複告知今天下午不是晴天???)
接著的第3步驟r→p
若"我們去游泳",則"今天下午是晴天"!?(感覺上是前後顛倒...看不懂他的函意)
第4步驟的-r
我想應該是"我們沒去游泳"的敘述.
第5步驟的-r→s
若"我們沒去游泳",則"我們去玩獨木舟"
第6步驟s
我們去玩獨木舟.(這應該是在敘述事實,因為她們沒去游泳)
第7步驟s→t
若"我們去玩獨木舟",則"我們會在日落時回家"
第8步驟t
我們在日落時回家.(這也是在敘述事實)

但是我不會解釋"為什麼課本要這樣寫",希望能請您指點一下.
