But i can do a speed test, a surface scan with nero cd-dvd speed and copy all files from DVD to hd without error from that DVD+R DL with the benq, the LG and my Liteon DVD-Reader. A error scan with the Liteon reader works great ("as all Liteon reader scans"... ) and i get no FOCUS error.
Scanning a single layer works perfectly with the benq.
Do you've had that problem with a DW822?

The new version (3.40) is out.
Here is the list of changes:
Create Data Disc: Test results can be recorded on the disc.
Disc Quality Test:
Added enhanced scanning capabilities for BenQ 8x DVD recorders.
Added advanced jitter test for AOpen Combo drives and CD-RW recorders.
Added colored bars on the background to show the acceptable level of errors.
Improved scoring system.
Many small improvements and bug fixes

PS: As you can see in my picture of the FOCUS error the german word "Durchschnitt" is always missing the last "t".
Thanks for letting me know. I will fix this in the next version.
If you set the speed to 8x (not maximum) then you should be able to scan at 8x.

PS︰ 在我的焦點錯誤的照片內，如你所見，german 單詞"Durchschnitt"總是失蹤的最後一個"t"。

如果你把速度確定成8x(不最大)，那么你應該能在8x掃描。
