拉高轉速不容易?這我就不清楚了,所以想看看這邊有甚麼人知道內幕.
至於scsi都以拉到15000轉,ide卻還停在7200轉,且光碟機也都萬轉好久了,不過最重要還是有人出了萬轉硬碟卻沒人跟進,打破以往慣例,真的很難理解;而硬碟越賣越便宜,一家家被收了,只好罵他們豬腦袋,錢要給它賺他都不要.

我們可以看看15000轉的硬碟的容量
18G? 36G?
為了增加也許一倍的效能,犧牲的不只一倍的容量
這要普通使用者怎麼下手?組個Raid 0搞不好都比較快且省,容量又大...
另外,SATA幾乎有跟SCSI相當的傳輸速度,出了之後,要怎麼推自己的SCSI?
WD是因為自己沒有SCSI產品線,所以可以力推Raptor,而不用擔心打到自家產品
