Living expense is big issue in here. House, Car, Insurance, Food,..........
Make you crazy all the time. From my opinion, I think you couple have to have at least 100 K annual salary in order meet your requirement.

Why?

1.Too expensive.

100K after tax is about 65K, which means 5500USD monthly. You will need to spend 1600 ~ 2000 for house rental or mortgage loan. (Food/shopping/entertainment) 1000+...
