no-pci have two main functions ( or more I don't known )
1. Reflected EM wave, reduce EM to effected sound card or TV card.
2. Some caps on NO-PCI, caps can smoothen the power supply curve. More no-pci add on PCI slots will more effective due to more caps to smoothen power curve.
