wide screan can have 2 page side by side. which is quite convenient when you type ms words, or viewing 2 website at the same time.

wide screan is better in watching dvd.

i think, slowly, all display including TV, computer monitor, notebook, will become wide screan.... so.. if you are going to use it for 3 years, i think it is better to get wide screan.

after next year, i think MOST of new computer will become widescrean. and if you buy a 4:3 now. you will want to throw it away. ( much the same as cantrino, right now, NO ONE are buying P4-M, except those big desktop replacement notebook, but they use mobile P4)

benq and asus, i will choose benq. asus notebook are not as strong as they look. i saw many design flew when i oepn one last year.
