I got a hard-drive requiring RMA service which s/n and warranty state as below: Y3JLCBPE ATA 6Y080P0131213 In warranty 07/22/2004 .

Though this drive is still under warranty, but the Taiwan agent--Xander declare that this drive is out of their Warranty period and thus refuse to provide any kind of service "only if" you Maxtor official agree.

But even if you Maxtor agree with returning this drive, due to Xander's poor work efficiency, by the time this drive send out it may be out of warranty date then, this is what Xander want to make clear firstly...

If I can return this drive under this circumstance , please inform the very agent that this drive is still under warranty and can be returned for RMA,thanks!
