General FAQ

I'm using Windows 2000 and the game crashes when entering/leaving battle
or moving between rooms. Can FF7 be made to work properly in Windows 2000?

說是要download這兩個程式...
1.March 2001 Compatibility Update for Windows 2000
2.Windows 2000 Compatibility Pack 1.5

然後...
3.Enable Compatibility Mode Technology:
- Go to Start -> Run...
- Type the following:
"regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll"

但是...其實這個網頁也有一段時間了...
現在他說的那兩個程式 已經併入 win2000 sp3中了 (service pack 3)
而我之前就有裝過
只是沒有啟動那行"regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll"
啟動 相容性模式 !!
如此一來 可在 ff7的捷徑案右鍵選內容
會多出一頁相容性...
選擇 Win98 Compatibility Layer

然後......我就可以玩了!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

恩 希望可以一直玩下去都沒有問題...
