本來在想熱可能可以用對流的方式得以有效散去.
後來想了想,為甚麼空氣要存在硬碟中?
這句解開疑問:Air however is required for the heads to function. <=空氣能提供磁頭浮力.
而且硬碟不是密封的,因為溫度一旦升高,空氣壓力就變大,所以:air exchange is permitted between the outside and inside of the drive to allow the drive to adjust to changes in air pressure.
如何辦到?A special "breather" filter is installed to prevent foreign matter from contaminating the drive. <=這個在IBM/Hitachi的硬碟最容易看到.
