The Nu BitSetting Utility ( Booktype)

This Program will only work on DVD burners based on the Nu DVD drives.

If Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP is detected then the SPTI interface will be used to communicate with the drive. Administrator privileges are mandatory for this program to operate. In this mode the program supports drives connected to the standard IDE bus, add on PCI IDE bus, USB or 1394 (Firewire) interfaces.

If Windows 95, 98 or ME is detected then the program will use the ASPI interface. It is assumed that ASPI V4.60 is installed else an error will occur. If Adaptec ASPI V4.60 is installed then the program will support drives connected to the USB and 1394 (Firewire) interfaces as well as all drives connected to an IDE bus.

Choose a DVD Drive

This drop down selected box allows you to choose the drive to use. If a non Nu drive is chosen an error will occur.
