簡單說是NV用OGL 1.4的12位元或16位元精度(FX12/FP16)的渲染來取代32位元精度(FP32),而ATI似乎是用FP24。關於ARB2,ATI跟NV都沒用,NV30用了ARB2後,效能大概只剩一半。
另外GEFORCE3屬於DOOM3官方支持的最小硬件需求...
有人用ti4200,p4 2g+512m玩過..driver還用最高質量和銳化,32bit,1024*768垂直同步"關",doom3的影子"關"玩過,沒敵人fps為35~60fps,射擊時為15~30,一般來說,最低流暢度差不多約30fps,不過多人玩貞數最好是在60。
