if you have a AP, it should be able to assign ip to different computer using class C network address.

make sure you buy good brand AP. some smaller company QC have many problems..

i think 3Com is good in wired part. however, Linksys is better in wireless part.

not recommand D-Link or SMC. (just my opinion). Microsoft one is only soso... but the AP is very cute.
