從這個表格來看 之前傳說s754會成為孤兒是錯的
事實上會一直是K8的主力規格
而需要6層PCB版,ECC Register記憶體的s940 也因為成本太貴而會改成s939
不過個人相信要等s939的0.09微米製程的K8現身還要很久
s754會是較好的選擇
難怪ABIT的工程師嗆說他們不作基於Athlon FX的s940版子
認為s754比較有"效能潛力"


我是覺得S754能維持多久, 要看S939什麼時候出來, 以及出來時S939是不是真的能用在4層主機版上.
因為S940至少要用6層主機版, 成本高, 再加上需要Register DDR SRAM, 系統成本太高, 只適合小型Server使用.
S939(90nm),以AMD在 0.13um製程的經驗, 所以找上了藍色巨人來幫助, 因此, 應該90nm製桯轉換不會像T-Bred一樣龜毛, 應該會快一些.
