大眾捷運系統
定義
捷運系統是指服務於一都市內及其鄰近衛星市鎮之都市客運運輸系統，
具有固定班次、費率與路線，擁有相當程度之專用路權,以保障迅速、便
捷之運輸效率。依運量區分：
1.高運量捷運系統(high capacity rapid transit)
2.中運量捷運系統(medium capacity rapid transit)
3.低運量捷運系統(low capacity rapid transit)

1.重軌式鐵路捷運系統(duorail rapid transit)
2.輪胎式捷運系統(rubber rapid transit)
3.單軌捷運系統(monorail system)
