VIA to challenge NVIDIA with new K7 Dual Channel DDR chipset. According to mainboard manufacturers, VIA is planning to capture the K7 market share after losing out to nForce2 for the past months.

VIA will launch a new K7 chipset which will have similar specifications to the nForce2. It will support dual channel DDR400 and supporting SATA interface.
