This article provides information on the AMD Catalyst™ Control Center / AMD Vision™ Engine Control Center 11.8 driver release. The release notes provides a description of 11.8 download contents including product compatibility, new features and resolved issues. The 11.8 software suite updates both the AMD display driver, and the AMD Catalyst Control Center / AMD Vision Engine Control Center. This unified driver has been updated to provide enhanced level of power, performance, and reliability.

這個月來的好早~~感覺不太習慣XD

11.8 AHCI版本比11.7舊,兩版本AHCI版號紀錄也不一致..... :stupefy:

難得在2x日以前就推出...
重點應該是下面兩方面:

控制中心現在連黑盒裝CPU超頻都可以一起玩;
至於顯示卡性能的改善集中於HD5000與HD6000系列。

11.7的Windows 7 64-bit版SB850的AHCI還是空包彈呢∼ :jolin:

催化劑11.8官方正式版發佈

比起上月月底「交作業」式的發布了催化劑11.7，AMD這次在月中就發佈了最新的催化劑11.8。上次11.7僅僅修正了幾處Bug，而這次自然不能再這麼一直修bug了。終於，11.8來了，帶來了廣大A飯所喜聞樂見的性能提升：

- Radeon HD 6000系列和Radeon HD 5000系列顯卡在《孤島危機2》DX 11模式下最高可得到10%的性能提升。不管是未開啟抗鋸齒，還是開啟軟體抗鋸齒的情況下均有效。

- Radeon HD 6000系列和Radeon HD 5000系列顯卡在《極度恐慌3》DX 11模式下開啟軟體抗鋸齒最高可得到8%的性能提升。

- Radeon HD 6000系列和Radeon HD 5000系列顯卡在CCC控制中心開啟AMD MLAA模式下最高提升30%的性能。

- Radeon HD 6000系列和Radeon HD 5000系列顯卡不管設置為單GPU或者多GPU，均可在《使命召喚：黑色行動》中獲的最高20%的性能提升。

新特性：

- AMD Overdrive現在可以通過在AMD Vision Control Center中同時設置CPU和GPU的超頻選項了。

- 目前CPU超頻還只能應用於AMD黑色版CPU。

修復Bug 三大堆，分別對應Win7/Vista/XP：

Win7：

- 選項「應用目前視訊質量設定於線上視訊」在AMD 催化劑控制中心/AMD Vision Engine Control Center中不會再莫名其妙的消失了。

- 跑分軟體3DMark 11 使用標準用戶運行時不再出現藍螢幕了。

- 使用Windows媒體播放器長時間播放FULL HD影片不會再導致系統掛掉或者藍螢幕了。

- 交火模式下運行《孤島危機2》不會再出現隨機性的畫面出錯了。

- 用Windows媒體播放器播放Divx編碼影片畫面更加穩定。

- 《星海爭霸2》在啟用抗鋸齒的情況下，不在隨機的黑螢幕了。

- 使用Windows媒體中心和Windows媒體播放器播放Divx 5編碼影片時，拖動影片不再會導致畫面撕裂。

- 《極度恐慌3》在DX 11模式下的菜單錯誤得到修復。

- 使用VLC 1.1.10開啟硬體加速後播放影片功能目前正常了。

Vista：

- 啟用交火時，PowerDVD播放藍光光碟，不會再偶爾顯示空白螢幕了。

- 啟用交火後，安裝驅動時不會出現偶爾的藍螢幕了。

WinXP：

- PowerDVD在從擴展模式(extended display mode)切換到克隆模式(cloned display mode)時，不會再出現偶爾白螢幕的情況了。

已經下載安裝好，目前跑遊戲都還正常。
不過我發現CrossFireX的Logo已經換過造形了。
